This song is based on three tru life experiences of your author.  The first was wheen he asked a 20 year old, what are your spiritual goals?  Her resonse was "Oh my I haven't thought about all that yet!"  Not uncommon for the young.  Many, including Nickleback ask what if today was your last day.  Not a fair question.  If you knew for sure, you'd likely give everything away, apologize to all you have ever wronged.  We cannot live like that.  If we did and tomorrow came - then what do we do.  We can live with the urgency that whatever time we have, it is limited.  The author's wife once said "Dan whatever it is that you want to do, you better do it now!"  I believe her and that's how I live.  Versse four of the song is about her and one vrief moment she awakened from a coma.  Let us not leave this place with regrets.  Say it now!
