JOSEPH (A Modern Cantata)

Everyone knows about Joseph and his coat of many colors.  His father favored him among all the siblings.  He had dreams of his brothers bowing down to him.  This was not good public relations.  The brothers plotted first to kill him, but then made a little cash selling him into service.  He winds up in Egypt and does well, but is betrayed again and this time goes to prison.  The point of Joseph's life is that God had a plan for all this.  A plan that would continue to unfold until the birth of Jesus.  Through it all Joseph did not fail or compromise his faith.  The entire piece is continuous.
