When astronauts are far from earth they often comment on what a stark contrast our blue planet is against the vast blackness of space. Some go further and speak of how fragile our home appears, and we must care for it and figure out how to live as one big crew. A crew is a team but more than that. A crew becomes like a close family. This song is written with the hope that all of us can become a crew, as we sail through the night.
