What is a Hanky Tank?  I have no idea.  It is a silly play on a form of 50s music called Honky Tonk.  Kids are often fascinated with tanks, even though they are a vanishing breed.  The purpose of this trio of upbeat rock and roll is to inspire movement.  Children need to stretch and move muscles to help them grow.  They naturally want to jump, spin, dance, bounce.  Put on an upbeat song and they go right into it.  BTW, it doesn't do adults either..  You have about 10 minutes of jump and jive music here.  Start moving.
